The CKEditor is the WYSIWYG editor module for WBCE CMS.

The CKE is offered in the default package with just the necessary plugins, and in the developer package with all useful plugins one can think of.

Note: Only the developer package has the option for individual toolbar configuration by wb_config.js in the template directory.

Important: When using the current version 4.22.1 of the developer edition with a custom wb_config.js, make sure to add the line

config.versionCheck = false;

to the file to avoid a unnecessary update reminder. (At CKEditor, they want you to change to the commercial CKE 4.24.0-LTS or CKE5, that's probably the only reason for this window. As far as we know the so-called security flaws refer to plugins/parts of the editor which are not part of the CKE package for WBCE CMS.)

Der CKE wird in zwei Varianten angeboten. Die Standardversion umfasst alle für das tägliche Bearbeiten von Inhalten erforderlichen Funktionen. Die Developer-Version beinhaltet alle erdenklichen Plugins.

Bitte beachten: NUR die Developer-Version unterstützt die Individualisierung der Symbolleiste durch eine wb_ckconfig.js, bei der Standardversion ist dies nicht mehr der Fall.

Wichtig: Wenn die aktuelle Version 4.22.1 der Developer Edition mit einer wb_config.js zum Einsatz kommt, bitte unbedingt darauf achten, dass die wb_config.js die Zeile

config.versionCheck = false;

enthält. Andernfalls wird ein lästiger Updatehinweis angezeigt, mit dem man zum Update auf die kommerziellen CKE-Versionen 4.24.0-LTS oder CKE5 gedrängt werden soll. (Die angeblichen Sicherheitsprobleme beziehen sich nach unserer Meinung auf Bestandteile des Editors, die gar nicht Bestandteil des CKE-Moduls für WBCE CMS sind.)
